The shoes looked way better in the photos than they did when they showed up. The color was darker, the shape felt a little off, and the leather looked cheaper than I expected. Maybe the lighting in the pictures made them look nicer, but I definitely felt misled. What made it more annoying was that it wasn’t really clear what I was supposed to do next if I wanted to return or exchange them, so I had to dig around for answers.

I ordered these expecting the wide size to actually give me some extra room, but they still fit really narrow. it felt a bit like a bait and switch because the sizing options make it seem like there’s a solution for wider feet, but they just didn’t work for me at all.

The shoes themselves seem fine, I think, but the packaging was not great. The shoe box came crushed on one side and it was just in a thin outer bag with basically no protection. It kind of looked like the package had been tossed around a bit. For the price, I’d definitely expect them to ship it with a little more care. Just made the whole thing feel cheaper than it should have.

On this site, I kept looking for solid proof that they were legit sellers and just didn’t see enough to feel comfortable. I bought a pair from blackwellshoes.com thinking they’d be comfortable enough for work, but the arch support is almost nonexistent. After about two hours, my feet were already aching. They look okay on the outside, but inside they feel really flat and kind of cheap. I ended up having to add my own insoles just to get through the day. For the price, I feel like companies should be upfront about comfort and support, especially when people are buying shoes to actually work in. I wouldn’t buy them again.

Pretty frustrating experience overall. I ordered a pair that was listed as in stock, paid for it, and figured everything was good to go.
A few days later, I got an email saying they didn’t actually have them available. There wasn’t any clear warning on the product page, which made the whole thing feel kind of unnecessary.

If something isn’t available, just say that upfront before letting people place an order. It wasted my time, and now I have to go look somewhere else.
